The tragedy in Turkey and Syria is motivating various solidarity actions. Even by Turkish players who are outside the country. This is the case of Merih Demiral, who is auctioning several jerseys to help the victims of the earthquakes that shook Turkey and who this Tuesday announced that he also has a Cristiano Ronaldo jersey, of whom he was a colleague at Juventus, who is duly signed.
"I spoke with Cristiano and he told me that he was very sad about what happened in Turkey. We are auctioning his autographed jersey, whose value will be channeled to help the area most affected by the earthquakes", wrote Demiral, on the social network Twitter.
It is recalled that Demiral, who went through Sporting and who knows how to speak Portuguese, and Cristiano Ronaldo played together at the service of Vecchia Signora in the 2019/20 and 2020/21 seasons.
