Villarreal CF has reached the Europa League semi-final that they will play this Thursday, in front the have to play against English sensation Liverpool FC. The Reds are coming from a dramatic victory against Borussia Dortmund and have proved that they are one of the tournament's most dangerous sides. People at the Spanish club have already played against the Reds, people like striker Roberto Soldado who played for Tottenham in the past.
Talking at a press conference before the match at Villarreal, SOldado spoke about Liverpool's pros and cons, he knows it will be the most difficult game of the season for the Yellow Submarine: "For Villarreal to get through to the final would be a great reward. It is the dream we all have. We strongly believe in our chances, although we know it will be difficult They are a very direct team on the ball. It's a great group and this is why they are in a European semi-final."
Back when he played in Spain, Soldado reached this same stage with Osasuna and Valencia, but he never reached the final: "We need the best of everyone tomorrow to get a great result and that means that we all give 100 per cent. We must give the highest level. We should not feel pressure and enjoy the game with our people. I have not won any of the two Europa League semi-finals I played and I hope to get third time lucky," he added.
