Everton and Wolves enquire about B. Mönchengladbach’s Tim Kleindienst

After Gladbach’s and Kleindienst’s strong first six months of the season, there was always likely to be interest. However, despite enquires from Premier League sides, Gladbach rejected them as the striker is not for sale.

Kleindienst is not the only player to be attracting interest from abroad. Manchester City have previously been linked with academy graduate Rocco Reitz, while PSV Eindhoven are a name that are consistently linked with central defender Ko Itakura.

On the enquires surrounding the players, director of sport Roland Virkus said:  “Of course there are inquiries, that’s completely normal when you’re performing well. But we don’t want to let any of the top players go, because something is happening here.”

Gladbach enter the winter break eighth in the table but only three points off of the top four. The first game back is against Bayern Munich at Borussia Park.
