The fringe Joao Palhinha of Bayern Munich has surfaced as another midfield target for Inter Milan. The record-time Bundesliga champions are reportedly open to hearing bids for the 30-year-old, according to German publication Bild via FCInter1908. Last summer, Joao Palhinha moved from Fulham to the Bavarians for an estimated €51 million.
But things didn't work out for him during his first season at the Allianz Arena. In fact, he fell down the hierarchy and was a replacement for the majority of the 2024–25 season. The Germans are willing to trade the Portuguese star for half of the €50 million they paid to sign him. After an unimpressive season, Vincent Kompany's team is willing to let go of the former Fulham player. In the meantime, Inter is interested in Palhinha because of rumours that Hakan Calhanoglu would join Galatasaray.
