

Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan to retire in 2019
Black Stars captain Asamoah is likely to call it a quit after the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
Manager of the player Anim Addo has hinted his client could retire after next year’s Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
Gyan has been lauded for his huge contribution to the National team having played in three FIFA World Cups with the Black Stars.
The 32-year-old also holds the record as Ghana’s all-time top scorer with 53 goals to his credit.
The former Sunderland star might hang his boots in the coming months.
"It’s likely he would like to quit football after the AFCON is over," Samuel Addo told Jeffries Kwabena Sintim-Koree 'Chaskele' on Zylofon Sports.
"It is likely, with these kinds of things he'll the best man to affirm it, and so I can’t say it on his behalf, but it’s likely. It’s likely, it’s a possibility.
The striker is currently the most capped Black Stars player with over 100 appearances for the National team since making his debut in 2003.
