

Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan is hoping for a good campaign in the Turkish Super Lig in the coming season.
The attacker did not have the best of seasons last term due to persistent injury problems.
Gyan missed most games and played cameo roles for Kayserispor where he managed just three goals for the Club at the end of the season.
The 32-year-old wants to better his performance in the upcoming season
“This season will be one of the important seasons [in my career],”he said.
“I didn’t have a good season last term so it is important for me to be ready for this coming season.
“I have to be physically ready and all so this will be an important season.”
The Black Stars captain prior to his arrival at kayserispor had enjoyed fruitful stints with the likes of Al Ain and Al Ahli in the UAE as well as Shanghai SIPG also in China.
He broke several records during his time in Asia where he became the all-time top scorer for Al Ain scoring over 100 goals for the Club.
