Gyan explains reason to stay at Kayserispor

Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan has explained his reason to stay at Turkish Club Kayserispor.

The Black Stars captain was expected to leave the Super Lig side at the end of the season.

However his decision to cut down his wages at the Club secured him another deal to stay.

Gyan has thrown light on his decision not to leave.

“I believe I’ll return to my old days. I’ve explained the situation to the administration, not an unfair profit.

“I offered a refund. In the new season, we had a discount on the contract, and I’m going to play for 1 in 3. I cannot leave the love of the fans unrewarded. ”

The striker only managed to score three goals in the Turkish Super Lig last season.

He will be hoping to get back to his best of forms when the new season begins.
