On the first weekend of the Bundesliga, St. Pauli and Borussia Dortmund battled out an exciting, end-to-end match, with the hosts drawing 3-3 thanks to a spectacular late equalizer from Eric Smith.
While Dortmund manager Niko Kovač handed Jobe Bellingham his Bundesliga debut, Pauli coach Alexander Blessin made a commitment that his team would not be overwhelmed by the occasion and started five summer additions.
