Inter interested in signing Balogun

Inter Milan were interested in signing Atletico Madrid striker Alvaro Morata in the summer transfer window. However, the Italian side are not willing to pay more than £18 million for him.

For this reason, according to 'La Gazzetta dello Sport', Simone Inzaghi's side have decided to turn their attention to Folarin Balogun, who plays for Arsenal's academy. They will not keep moving for the Spaniard.

Inter want to strengthen their attack as soon as possible and believe Balogun could fit into their squad. The 22-year-old has played ten competitive matches for Arsenal's first team, scoring two goals.

The United States international spent last season on loan at Stade Reims and scored 22 goals in 39 appearances for the Ligue 1 side.

The Gunners will reportedly be asking for £50 million for his transfer but the Serie A side are hoping to negotiate with the board to reduce their price tag.
