After failing to let go of the unsatisfied midfield player Arthur Melo in the summer, Juventus is eager to get rid of him during the January transfer window. In order to create a way for additional recruits, Cristiano Giuntoli, the sports director, plans to locate a new residence for the Brazilian flop this winter. Melo was on loan at Fiorentina for the previous season. He performed rather well at Stadio Artemio Franchi but was unable to get a long-term deal, which led to his return to Juventus in the summer.
The former Barcelona playmaker, nevertheless, is not going to be a member of Thiago Motta's first team this season. The 28-year-old, whose Serie A career has never quite lived up to expectations, has drawn attention from three teams. The little midfielder is apparently being targeted by Fiorentina, Olympique Marseille, and Everton in a winter transfer window. Juventus is keen to find a suitor as soon as possible because Arthur's contract at the Allianz Stadium expires in 2026.
