Lazio beat Frosinone 3-1

After the Matias Soule penalty, Lazio pulled off an incredible comeback with Taty Castellanos, Gustav Isaksen, and Patric to defeat Frosinone. Alessio Romagnoli, suspended Manuel Lazzari, and injured Ciro Immobile and Luis Alberto—both sidelined for at least a few weeks—were all that the Aquile could muster. With Nicolò Casale battling flu-like symptoms, the squad was reduced to its essential members. Although Caleb Okoli had returned from his ban, the Canarini were still without Anthony Oyono, Riccardo Marchizza, Sergio Kalaj, Arijon Ibrahimovic, Jaime Baez, and Pol Lirola.

Despite Abdou Harroui's best efforts, no Frosinone teammate was able to reach the ball as it crossed the goal line for a tap-in. After a close free kick attempt by Mattia Zaccagni, Stefano Turati had to paw the ball away from under the bar after Francesco Gelli stopped Felipe Anderson from nodding in a cross at the back post.
