Lewis-Skelly Named in UEFA Team of the Week After Standout Display Against PSG

UEFA have paid Myles Lewis-Skelly the ultimate compliment following Arsenal's 1-0 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League semi-final first leg. The 18-year-old impressed once again, earning a spot in UEFA’s Team of the Week. Despite Arsenal’s loss, Lewis-Skelly stood out, having now played nine games in the competition with two assists. The Hale End graduate played a key role throughout the campaign and showed his class with a dazzling run past Achraf Hakimi to create a major chance.

UEFA’s Technical Observer Group highlighted that moment as a key reason for his inclusion. Joining him in the all-star XI were Donnarumma in goal; Dumfries, Marquinhos, and Acerbi in defence; Vitinha, Pedri, and Barella in midfield; and Yamal, Dembele, and Raphinha up front. Lewis-Skelly's rise continues as he cements his place among Europe’s elite young talents.
