Luxemburgo and Lucescu discredit Pep Guardiola

Pep Guardiola may be one of the most competitive managers in the world, but he is also one of the most hated ones by many around the world. Even fellow managers tend to dislike the way he acts around other coaches and with the press. But until now, there hadn't been a manager who spoke mean stuff about his personality. Well, Brazilian manager Vanderlei Luxemburgo and Romanian coach Mircea Lucescu gave their opinion about him.

Talking to Fox Sports, the Brazilian manager said: "Pep Guardiola is better at marketing than coaching. He won a lot of titles at Barcelona, but Luis Enrique has done the same. Guardiola went to Bayern Munich, he prepared, he learned the language and he didn't achieve the same as Jupp Heynckes, who won the treble at 70 years old. He [Ancelotti] was a champion at [AC] Milan, [Real] Madrid… I think that, for Guardiola to prove he's better, he will have to win with Manchester City."

Lucescu also told Sport that: "Mourinho is an amazing guy, but my way of understanding football is totally different because I have an offensive mentality. All my teams have broken records for goals. Mourinho seems more arrogant than Guardiola but it is exactly the opposite. Either way, both are great coaches."
