Man United aim to beat Everton & West Ham to Brazilian keeper John Victor

Manchester United are reportedly ready to trigger John Victor’s release clause this summer, with the Botafogo goalkeeper attracting intense interest from several Premier League clubs. According to Caught Offside, Everton and West Ham are also chasing the 29-year-old Brazilian, who has impressed in Brazil with 85 appearances, 69 goals conceded, and 36 clean sheets.

United have tracked John for some time as they look to strengthen their goalkeeping ranks amid doubts over the future of back-up keeper Altay Bayındır. First-choice Andre Onana has also delivered a mixed run of form across his two seasons at Old Trafford, prompting the club to explore new options. John’s consistency and experience make him a serious candidate. However, with Everton and West Ham also circling, United will face serious competition if they hope to lure him away from Botafogo in the summer.
