Man Utd agree deal to sell Antony for a €50m loss to Real Betis

Antony's journey at Manchester United has come to an end. The Red Devils announced in an official statement that the Brazilian winger joins Betis on a permanent transfer, the club where he dazzled in the second half of last season on loan.

This confirms that the Manchester club has sold one of the most expensive signings in its history (£81 million) for around £50 million less, as according to reports, the Andalusian club will pay a fixed fee of £22 million plus £3 million in add-ons.

In addition, the Old Trafford club has included a sell-on clause in the agreement, meaning that Ruben Amorim's side will receive 50% of the profits from any future sale of Antony.

Antony thus returns permanently to the club where he returned to his best form after joining them in January 2025. The Brazilian played 26 official matches with the Andalusian side, scoring nine goals.
