Manchester City are now keen to sign Lorran

The 17-year-old wonderkid is destined to become the next footballing gem to come out of Brazil. According to 90min, Pep Guardiola is keeping an eye on Lorran, who is also being pursued by Barcelona, PSG, Real Madrid, Chelsea, West Ham, and Brighton. As mentioned, Manchester United, a fierce rival of Manchester City, is also intrigued and is already in negotiations with Flamengo about a transaction as the Red Devils try to hold off the competition.

The 1-1 tie against Bangu in January saw Lorran become Flamengo's youngest-ever goal scorer. He is represented by Jay-Z's ROC Nation Sports agency, and his contract includes a €50 million (£43 million) release clause.  A contract may still be made in advance, like Real Madrid did when they paid €70 million (£61 million) to get Brazilian sensation Endrick, who will join them from Palmeiras in July 2024.
