Marco Baroni told about Lazio on top of Europa League

The Italian coach has overseen a chaotic period at Lazio rather calmly and after a 1-0 win over Napoli at the weekend, they beat Ajax 3-1 to go the top of the Europa League table.

Baroni spoke to Lazio Style Channel after the game and he isn’t surprised by the team. He said, as relayed by LaLazioSiamoNoi: “The team doesn’t surprise me, they know very well what they have to do on the pitch, we were going to concede goals here, in fact in my opinion we missed the ball three or four times to close the game even at 1-0, we could have been more lucid in the transition.”

Speaking further about the team’s performances in recent weeks, the Biancocelesti boss said: “Today a good step forward, it’s not a decisive step yet but we’re happy.”

Marco Baroni has managed the situation very calmly in Rome.
