Gerard Martin, a left-back for Barcelona, is supposedly a target for Wolves during the summer transfer window. Last season, Martin was a favorite of Hansi Flick's, making 42 appearances across all competitions as Alejandro Balde's backup. The Premier League team has taken notice of the 23-year-old.
A contract extension until 2028 was also signed by the defender in January, when he expressed his desire to remain for "many years.” The announcement coincides with reports that Barcelona is now again considering a move for Alejandro Grimaldo. This is another frequent rumor, and Mundo Deportivo is saying that Barca will pursue Grimaldo if they decide to move Martin. According to recent sources, a sum of about €18 million may be sufficient to recruit the 29-year-old, who has frequently stated that he would want to return to Barcelona.
