Mattia Liberali is extremely close to leaving Milan

Football Italia is aware that despite multiple offers from Serie A teams in recent days, teenage sensation Mattia Liberali is extremely close to leaving Milan on a permanent transfer to join Serie B team Catanzaro. As Gianluigi Longari first reported, Catanzaro is expected to end the competition and sign the 18-year-old Liberali from Milan, despite requests and enquiries from other top-flight teams over the past few days.

This summer, the Calabrian club is thought to be the best choice for the adolescent. Football Italia is aware that a permanent transfer agreement is currently being negotiated. This time last year, Liberali was predicted to do well after being one of Milan's breakout players during the preseason, which included a key assist in a 1-0 victory over Real Madrid, the then-champions league winners.
