Milan make contact with Liverpool for Darwin Nunez

Serie A giants Milan have been looking to sign a new striker this summer and have made contact for Liverpool’s Darwin Nunez.

Gianluca di Marzio reported on Saturday that the Rossoneri could make a move for the Uruguayan soon.

Calciomercato also reported Nunez is Milan’s leading candidate for the striker’s position and direct contact has been made for the South American.

New sporting director Igli Tare wants to make as many efforts as possible to sign Nunez and wants to explore even the remotest chance of signing him from Liverpool.

Corriere della Sera, via MilanNews too, have reported that Milan have made initial contact with the Reds about a move as they wanted to assess the feasibility of a summer move. While the move is far from simple, Nunez’s name can rise up the Rossoneri’ shortlist quickly.
