Shan United seemed under pressure against Sagaing but home side looked better above all in midfield to get a good win. Just after 26 minutes Liang found the net for Shan by leading 1-0 and scoring after a corner kick. No more than 10 minutes and Shan netted again a second decisive goal after one missed by Aung Hlaing Win to get a possible draw.
Sagaing made their best effort but two goals down they could not engage so much and became nervous, whereas Shan United were easier to control the game until the end.
In the second half both teams played hard, but did not gain a goal. Shan United were now runners-up in the table after this success.
