Uruguay captain Diego Godin has not yet decided what he will do with his future. Despite this, possible destinations for the player have already emerged. Nacional could be one of them.
Nacional president Jose Fuentes spoke to 'Ovacion' during the World Cup in Qatar and he said that they will try to sign Diego Godin.
"We are open to him, even for a short period. I think he can give us a lot, especially at international level. He told me that he still doesn't know if he will stay at Velez or not, as he has a contract. We are looking forward to hearing from him," the president said.
The winter transfer window will begin in January and Nacional will be keen to sign the former Atletico Madrid and current Velez defender.
