The North-Eastern English club is looking for a replacement for the Bolivian Miguel Almíron, who is reported to be in advanced negotiations with an unnamed Chelsea club.
Madueke was born in London and spent time in the academy system at Tottenham, before joining the youth ranks at Dutch side PSV Eindhoven.
He would go on to make 80 senior appearances for them, scoring 20 goals and providing 14 assists before Chelsea tempted him back home in January 2023. Since then the England under-23 international has flattered to deceive, and had been not able to consistently nail down a first-team place.
Liverpool, Spurs, and Leeds United have also been tracking his situation, with the player himself open to a move away from Stamford Bridge.
And, with other options in forward positions, Chelsea have now decided that they can let him go.
