With Fikayo Tomori of AC Milan apparently looking to return to the Premier League, Newcastle United may be poised for a major transfer coup. TEAMtalk reports that the defender is amenable to leaving the Serie A powerhouses, which might lead to a move to the Magpies.
After joining AC Milan in January 2021 and rapidly rising to prominence, Fikayo Tomori is now reevaluating his future. His impressive performances convinced Milan to permanently sign him for £25 million in July 2021 after he was first brought in on loan. Tomori, who has barely played 13 minutes in Serie A since mid-October, is now viewed as a backup despite his high ranking. Sources close to the player reported that Tomori has asked his staff to prioritize conversations with Premier League teams, showing a strong inclination to return to England.
