Barcelona is always aware of the new and bright talent emerging in Spain and all over the world, but they lost the race for the 18-year-old Spanish prodigy. Antonio Cordero, well known by his nickname "Antonito," was a young sensation from Malaga who had attracted the attention of the Catalan powerhouses. The 18-year-old attacker, who came from Malaga's youth, has impressed this season, scoring five goals and dishing out six assists in 33 professional games, drawing interest from elite teams like Real Madrid and Barcelona.
But Newcastle United has outbid Real Madrid and Barcelona for Antonio Cordero. In fact, the Magpies have finalized the agreement to sign the 18-year-old Malaga prodigy, and his signing is anticipated to be announced shortly. Despite intense interest in the Malaga winger from both Barça and Madrid, Cordero has chosen to play in the Premier League.
