Nolito can't wait to play the Champions League

Before knowing he will be facing FC Barcelona in the Champions League group stage this season, Spanish forward Nolito spoke to El Larguero about what he expects from this news season at Manchester City. He has already started the season with his right foot, having scored a brace on the last Premier League match against Stoke City filled him with confidence for what's coming. Nolito spoke about his experience with Guardiola and everything he expects from this new adventure.

About the Champions League qualification, Nolito spoke to El Larguero before knowing he will be facing Barcelona in the group stage, he also spoke about his experience with Guardiola so far: "Thanks to God we have already qualified for the Champions League and now we have to see who will be our rivals in the group. In the Champions League any team can beat you. Well, I've had the luck to debut with Guardiola. And now [I have been] given the chance to work with him again. [I'm] happy and learning with him."

About the Premier League and playing for Spain under Julen Lopetegui, Nolito added: "Yes, it is very intense, very physical. The [stadiums] are full and the crowd encourage their teams. It's cool. The crowd live football more in [the] Premier [League] than in other places. Sunday is another important game," he added, referring to a home match against West Ham. Spain's call-up? I do not know, honestly. It's a new coach, with his plans, his players ... and we have to see what it happens. We have to wait."
