Nottingham Forest has Kaio Jorge of Cruzeiro on their summer agenda. In June of last year, Cruzeiro signed the striker back to Brazil after he had left Santos to join Juventus in 2021. Ten goals and two assists from this year make up his total of 17 goals and four assists. Nuno Espírito Santo's team has approached the Brazilian team to "signal their interest in paying" €15 million for the player.
Jorge is now valued at €7 million and has a contract that expires in December 2028. But Cruzeiro's management has no plans to negotiate a €15 million deal with the Premier League team. Cruzeiro wants to begin discussions for Jorge's sale this summer for €30 million. Igor Jesus of Botafogo is also expected to join Nottingham Forest for around €20 million following the Club World Cup. Although it would not be wise for the English team to spend €30 million on Jorge.
