A defensive player for Almería in the Segunda División is getting ready to make a high-profile move to Atalanta in Italy. Transfer insider Fabrizio Romano says Marc Pubill is the guy in issue, and that's what he says.
The initial information on the commencement of talks between the boards of Almería and Atalanta was released earlier this evening. It came as something of a surprise when it was announced that the latter had launched an all-out attack for the right-back, who was in the middle of an incredible Olympic Games campaign with Spain. And apparently, reaching a consensus hasn't taken too long. According to a report by Fabrizio Romano, Pubill is almost guaranteed to play for Bergamo in the 2024–2025 season. This occurs after Atalanta consented to pay a sizeable amount—possibly as much as €20 million—in order to get the 21-year-old.
