"Only 3 England players would make the French team ahead of the quarter-final"

Jamie Carragher has said that only three England players would make the cut for the France side that will play the Three Lions in Qatar. England recently beat Iran 6-2 in their opening match of the World Cup, and then beat USA and Wales to finish Group B with four points.

Carragher believes that England could get in by beating France in the quarters, but only three of his players would make the cut. France topped Group F before defeating Poland 3-1 in their first knockout game in Qatar. On the other hand, France are capable of finishing in the quarters, as only three of their players would make the squad. To go all the way, England must beat France. But three of the players are not on the team.
