If Estêvão plays at least 45 minutes in 70 games, Chelsea will owe Brazilian team Palmeiras €21 million in the upcoming years. Journalist Jorge Nicola, who reports on the player today and the specifics of the Brazilian child's transfer to Stamford Bridge, says as much.
Estêvão signed a €34 million contract with Chelsea in the middle of last year, and he is expected to join them during the summer transfer window. They have reached an arrangement with Palmeiras for him to stay there until he is 18 this year, making him one of several young players they have transferred to finish early before possible competition. Since the 17-year-old is still highly talented and hasn't played 100 games for Palmeiras, it's unclear if the young player will be worth the wait and the money. In 61 appearances, he presently has 20 goals and 10 assists. Additionally, he has played for the Brazilian national team four times.
