The No. 47 became the youngest player in City's illustrious history to make 200 appearances in the top flight, reaching the milestone in the 3-1 win over Bournemouth, City's press service has confirmed.
Foden reached the milestone aged just 25 years and 158 days, beating the previous record held by Raheem Sterling, who achieved it at 26 years and 284 days. Since making his debut in November 2017, Phil has become one of the club's most successful stars.
That record includes six Premier League titles, a feat only five other players in the modern era have achieved. Foden is also one of only 20 players to have scored at least 100 goals for the club in all competitions.
His standout season came in 2023/24, when he won the EPL Player of the Season award, the FWA Footballer of the Year award and the PFA Player of the Year award.
