PSG book Champions League final spot after beating Arsenal

Arsenal started brightly, dominating the opening 15 minutes and putting PSG under sustained pressure. Despite the visitors’ early intent, it was Fabian Ruiz who broke the deadlock for PSG with a powerful volley before the half-hour mark.

The match turned tense in the second half when Arsenal’s David Raya saved a penalty from Vitinha, keeping the Gunners’ hopes alive.

Just three minutes later, Achraf Hakimi doubled PSG’s lead with a clinical finish. Saka reignited Arsenal’s hopes with a well-taken goal in the 76th minute, setting up a nervy finale at the Parc des Princes.

Saka then missed a golden opportunity to equalise moments later, failing to convert from close range.

PSG managed to withstand Arsenal’s late surge, securing a 2-1 win on the night and a 3-1 aggregate triumph.

Luis Enrique’s side will now face Inter Milan in the final at Munich’s Allianz Arena on 31 May.
