RB Salzburg hopes to complete Bayern Munich’s thrashing in CL return leg

The Red Bull Salzburg’s young team would go up against Bayern Munich in Bavaria for the Champions League second leg of the Last 16 stages in the hopes to book a slot for the last 8 stages. A win against one of the best European teams would be a great win for manager Matthias Jaissle and the young stars. In the surprising match last time, Bayern and Salzburg drew up 1-1 leaving Salzburg with a big opportunity to make the most out of the draw in the next match.

The young roster has been getting a lot of attention in the European top-flight tournament with their first-ever appearance in the last-16 stage of the competition and they even finished better than Sevilla and Germany’s Wolfsburg. The team would have a full squad on their side and Upamecano and Nagelsmann are fully prepped on how to take on Adeyemi and Aaronson.
