Real Madrid are reportedly very keen to sign a new right-back in 2025

According to reports, Real Madrid is eager to get a new right-back in 2025. With backup Lucas Vazquez's contract expiring at the conclusion of the current campaign, club executives are accelerating their efforts to find a replacement after Dani Carvajal suffered a season-ending knee injury. Real Madrid's top aim is still Trent Alexander-Arnold, but they will probably let him go if he signs a new deal with Liverpool. Pedro Porro is one of the options, and according to Calciomercato (via TEAMtalk), Los Blancos also like Andrea Cambiaso of Juventus.

According to reports, Aston Villa's summertime bid of €35 million for Cambiaso was turned down.  The 24-year-old is highly valued by Juventus, thus Real Madrid would have a difficult time stealing him. Over the past 12 months, Cambiaso has shown himself to be a highly flexible option for Juventus and Italy, playing right-back, left-back, and even right flank.
