Real Madrid, the king of Europe. Mbappé scores and lifts the European Super Cup

Real Madrid won the European Super Cup on Wednesday, after beating Atalanta 2-0, at the National Stadium in Warsaw, Poland.

Despite a somewhat calm first half and even with some very dangerous opportunities created by the Italian team, it ended up being the team that won the last edition of the Champions League who came out on top, with two goals scored in the second half.

The goal came in the 59th minute, with Vinicius Júnior assisting Federico Valverde. Mbappé, who made his debut for the Merengues, also scored, in the 68th minute, assisted by Jude Bellingham.

This was the sixth time that Real Madrid have won the European Super Cup, thus becoming the record holder in this competition, with one more trophy than AC Milan and Barcelona.
