Reims takes down Lille to secure fifth place in Ligue 1

Marshall Munetsi set up both goals as Reims beat Lille 2-1 away to climb up to fifth position in the French league. The Zimbabwe international midfielder, set up Dane Mohammed Daramy, who gave Reims the lead in the 12th minute, and again four minutes later when Japan's Keito Nakamura doubled the lead with his first Ligue 1 goal.

Despite the early goals, the game got off to a poor start, with the referee being replaced in the middle by a fourth official due to injury. The drama continued when in the 79th minute, Benjamin Andre equalized for Paulo Fonseca's Lille, but Reims held on to take the lead. Reims has 10 points from six games, while Lille is still in 11th position with eight. Brest leads the table with 13 points, one more than Nice and two more than Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco.
