Ronald Araujo looks increasingly likely to leave Barcelona this month

With Juventus and Arsenal circling the Uruguayan defender, who is apparently dissatisfied at Barcelona, Ronald Araujo appears more likely to go this month. The rest of the 2025 winter transfer season is expected to be filled with speculation, which has been rampant in recent days. Juventus is now making a lot of effort to recruit Araujo, and a deal may be less expensive than anticipated. According to Sport, Barcelona would only accept an offer of between €60 and €70 million, but this amount would now be lowered to between €45 and €50 million.

With only 18 months remaining on his current deal, Barcelona is not in a good situation with Araujo. Club executives will know that they must cash in as soon as possible to get as much money as possible because negotiations over a new contract have stagnated in recent months.
