Maurizio Sarri is more than satisfied with having Matias Vecino playing for Lazio because the Uruguayan midfielder is a specialist in his position. Vecino spent the majority of his career at Inter, where he suffered a cut-throat battle in midfield between several coaches in recent years. Sarri has been happy with the 31-year-old since he signed Vecino, who has three goals and one assist in 15 appearances for Lazio. The Biancocelesti have started the season well, sitting third in the Serie A league.
Sarri believes that Vecino is a total player and he likes him very much. According to him, Vecino has aggression, intensity, dynamism, and quality. He makes insertions and if he has to suffer, he suffers. "I am very happy, but I was already satisfied when there was the possibility of signing him," Sarri commented cheerily.
