Sergio Aguero announces his early retirement

Crushed Sergio Aguero broke down before he could even get the words out about his early retirement at age 33. The doctors had advised the Man City legend to quit the game due to a heart condition. The Barcelona striker was serving his first year with Barca after leaving behind Manchester City after a decade of service. Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola was present for Argentinian’s farewell announcement along with Xavi.

Aguero barely even played for Barcelona in the five short months spent with the team. Aguero was diagnosed with cardiac arrhythmia and told to stop playing, while he was joining Barca there were rumors of winning the Copa America this year with Lionel Messi who moved to PSG later. Aguero scored a record-breaking 260 goals at Manchester City and leaves his legacy behind at Etihad Stadium and Barcelona’s wage bill frees up for January.
