Sevilla beats Atletico Madrid giving Real and Barcelona an opportunity.

Atletico Madrid’s dominance in the league took a step back after their defeat at the hands of Sevilla on Sunday hurt their chances at getting their hands on title this season. Sevilla beat the current La Liga leaders by 1-0 by making up for a missed penalty that would have given them an early lead but Atletico had no answer against the attack giving hope to challengers Barcelona and Real Madrid.

The visitors were rattled right at the start when Sevilla started to attack as soon as the match began. Jan Oblak though managed to save the first penalty taken by Lucas Ocampos later Joan Jordan also hit the bar but after the constant attack, they did found a winner in the 70th minute when Marcos Acuna scored. Though Atletico still leads the table with 66 but for how long? With Barcelona and Real Madrid breathing down its neck.
