Levante announced an agreement with Sporting Lisbon for the transfer of Georgian midfielder Giorgi Kochorashvili, who joins the Portuguese club on July 1st in a deal with a fixed fee of 5.5 million and 2 more in variables.
Several media outlets in Portugal published the official announcement made by the Portuguese club to the Portuguese Securities Market Commission (CMVM) with the figures of the operation.
Kochorashvili, 25 years old and a Georgia international, will have a termination clause of 80 million euros and signs with the Portuguese side until June 2030.
Although Levante assured that the player “stays on loan” at the club until June 30th of this year, this formula as it stands could not be given officially as the transfer market is closed, both in Spain and in Portugal. In principle, it would be a sale that would be effective as of July 1st.
