Successful Atalanta made life even more complicated for Napoli

At the end of Saturday morning, Napoli missed to mark a step forward in the race for qualifying places for European competitions, having lost the duel with Atalanta, at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium, by a resounding 0-3.

Aleksey Miranchuk produced a 'gala' performance, particularly in the first half, as, after having scored in the 26th minute, he assisted Gianluca Scamacca's accurate shot, just before the half-time whistle.

The 'final blow' to home team's aspirations, would come in the 88th minute, this time through Teun Koopmeiners, who sealed the result.

All in all, with this triumph, Atalanta, future Liverpool's opponents in the Europa League, now have 50 points, which leave them in sixth place in Serie A. Napoli, for their part, are right behind, with 45 points, despite having one more game played.
