Supersub Osimhen: Nigerian striker breaks his goal drought in six minutes
09.09.24 / 08:19
After all the chapters he had gone through before leaving Napoli, Victor Osimhen pulled on the Nigeria shirt and took six minutes to score, his first since May. The striker came on in the 72nd minute and scored in the 78th minute to make it 2-0 against Benin.
The Nigerian, one of the biggest names on the transfer market, was able to redeem himself after all he has been through in recent months. With no place at Napoli, the striker found a place at Galatasaray - on loan - and has already started to sharpen his aim.
He did so in the shirt of the Nigerian national team. The striker, a substitute against Benin, came on after 72 minutes and took six minutes to score and set off a frenzy among his compatriots.
