Teenager Kaua Elias of Fluminense is reportedly a target for Nottingham Forest as they plan their January strategy. When it comes to entering the South American transfer market, the Reds have a solid track record. In particular, they have close ties to Brazil and have acquired numerous top-notch players from there. The Daily Mail claims that Elias may be the next person targeted. But it appears that other European teams are also keeping an eye on the Brazilian, who is eighteen.
Earlier in the season, the striker was connected to Manchester United, Fulham, Everton, Napoli, and Bayer Leverkusen. The Spanish newspaper Fichajes stated in October that "all signs point to" a January transfer for the child. Fichajes also reported Elias has a release clause of close to €30 million (£25m) in his contract. They said Fluminense would “not make it easy” for any club looking to prise their rising star away.
