Even though AS Monaco lost to Benfica 2-3 after giving up two late goals, there were still many good things to take away from their most recent Champions League performance, in which they played the final half with ten men. Les Monegasques’s Eliesse Ben Seghir gave them the lead inside 13 minutes. Seghir and Maghnes Akliouche both made attempts that went above and beyond, and Benfica attempted to respond immediately before ASM regained their attacking vigor.
