Tiago Djalo's comeback at FC Porto is encouraging for Juventus

Tiago Djalo's comeback at FC Porto is encouraging for Juventus and the player alike. The teenage defender has steadily established himself as a key member of the Portuguese team after being loaned out by the Bianconeri at the beginning of the season after a spell in which he battled to establish himself under Thiago Motta. For Juventus, who are presently dealing with a defensive crisis, this improvement in form is especially reassuring.

Due to Gleison Bremer's long-term injury, Juventus' backline is severely lacking. One of the Bianconeri's primary defensive cornerstones, Bremer's absence for the rest of the season means that when the transfer market reopens in January, the team will need to find replacements. Recalling players from loan may seem like a simple fix, but according to reports, Juventus has chosen not to bring back Djalo or Daniele Rugani, another loanee who is presently getting experience at Ajax.
