According to a rumour, Serie A clubs Torino and Atalanta have shown a strong desire to sign AC Milan striker Lorenzo Colombo to a loan agreement. There is a lot of curiosity in Serie A over what Milan will decide to do with the Italian striker, as Tuttosport (via Milan News) has revealed. He excelled while on loan at Lecce during the previous season. At the end of the loan, Lecce really exercised their option to purchase him, but Milan later used their own buy-back option to bring him back to the team.
It is not yet apparent whether Stefano Pioli intends to keep Colombo at the club or loan him out once more given the lack of depth in that area. Swiss player Noah Okafor has joined Olivier Giroud, but another attacker could be required. The choice will probably depend on the funds allocated for signing a striker.
