Tottenham defeat Leeds in the Premier League

Harry Kane scored a game-winning second goal in what may be his final match for the London club, after Pedro Porro and Jack Harrison had given Spurs a 2-0 lead early in either half.

Leeds' sorrow was complete when Tottenham's replacement Lucas Moura broke through a weak Leeds defence in stoppage time. Despite winning at Elland Road, Leeds would have eventually lost. In addition to winning on the last day, Leeds also needed Everton and Leicester to lose to avoid relegation. Leeds' 21st league loss of the year was unimportant because they both won, and after the game, the home crowd let out their displeasure and rage. Tottenham placed ninth overall, falling short of earning a spot in the next season's European tournament. Leeds hasn't maintained a clean sheet since February, and its chances on Sunday were dashed in the first minute.
