Tottenham Hotspur have entered the race for the signature of Mathias Olivera

Eduardo Burgos claims that because of interest from certain elite teams, Mathias Olivera may end up leaving Napoli this summer. Among the teams eager to recruit him is Tottenham Hotspur. They are prepared to compete with many elite teams to get the Uruguayan full-back now that they have joined the competition for his services.

Olivera moved to Napoli in the summer of 2022 after establishing himself at Getafe, and he hasn't looked back. With his steady efforts week after week, the 27-year-old has made a name for himself as a vital member of their club. This season, he has played in 30 league games and assisted on three goals. A few months ago, the South American defender agreed to a new deal that would keep him playing until the summer of 2030. Nevertheless, he is still being linked to leaving the team.
