Tottenham keen on sealing the deal for Wolves star Adama Traore

The Hammers have chosen to withdraw from the race to sign Traore, believing the Spain international will instead join Spurs. Traore has impressed for Wolves and appears to be a strong fit for Tottenham, with Football Insider estimating a £20 million transfer fee. Even if Traore is inconsistent, he has the potential to be a steal for Spurs, and it's no surprise that West Ham was also interested in the 25-year-old.

Nonetheless, Antonio Conte's first signing since taking over as Tottenham manager, Traore, could be crucial in the quest for the top four this season. Spurs are now in sixth place in the table, one point behind West Ham but with a few games in hand. Arsenal and Manchester United are also in the running, but for the time being, it appears that this potential signing will help Tottenham win a crucial match against West Ham.
